Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (Enfield CAMHS)

CAMHS NHS services assess and treat young people with emotional, behavioural or mental health difficulties. Enfield CAMHS duty team for young people already known to services, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

Kooth 

Kooth is an online mental health platform for children and young people between 11 and 25 years in North Central London. The platform offers text based counselling with professional counsellors. They also offer instant access to self-help materials such as articles, forums, online journals and goal trackers. Their support is completely free, safe and anonymous to anyone who makes an account on their website. Online counsellors are available 365 days a year, 12pm to 10pm on weekdays and 6pm to 10pm on weekends. 


NHS Barnet and Enfield Talking Therapies

NHS Barnet and Enfield Talking Therapies, provide psychological therapy to anyone who is experiencing problems with their mood including mental health difficulties such as: depression, anxiety, OCD, Trauma (PTSD) and more.

Mind Enfield and Barnet - Sanctuary Enfield

Sanctuary Enfield is a drop-in intervention café in Enfield for people aged 18 and older experiencing crisis.

Enfield Wellbeing Network

Enfield Wellbeing Network provide up to 12 weeks one-to-one support with an experienced Health and Wellbeing practitioner to build self-confidence and manage longer term health conditions, Including mental health conditions. Any Enfield resident aged 18 or over and not receiving care through Enfield Council is eligible.

NHS & Care Volunteer Responders

In these challenging times, it's easy to feel isolated or overwhelmed, especially when you need a helping hand. Whether you're facing difficulties in accessing care or simply in need of a friendly voice, NHS Care Volunteer Responders are here to help! Available between 8am and 8pm, 7 days a week.

Service for Adolescents and Families in Enfield (SAFE)

SAFE is a service providing rapid, community-based intervention to young people between the ages of 13 to 18 who are in need of crisis mental health support. This includes young people who have harmed themselves or who are at risk of suicide.

Safe and Connected

Safe and Connected provide 24/7 support to people 18 years and older who feel vulnerable, have a disability, or a long term health condition.

Wellbeing Connect Services

Wellbeing Connect Services support Black African and Caribbean families experiencing mental health and domestic abuse. They specialise in independent advocacy, monthly support group workshops and training.

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM)

CALM provide mental health support to people experiencing anxiety, suicidal thoughts and relationship concerns; they aim to challenge stigma related to mental health.

Childline

Childline provide 24/7 health and safety support to people aged 19 and younger. Their remit covers: eating problems, sexting, loneliness, suicidal thoughts, grooming, self-harm, vaping, sex education, staying safe online, and hate crime.

Mind

Mind provides advice and support to people experiencing a mental health problem.

Papyrus HOPELINEUK

Papyrus offers Suicide prevention advice. Support for young people via phone, text, email, webchat. Available weekdays 10.00am to 10.00pm, weekends and bank holidays 2:00pm to 10:00pm.

Samaritans

Samaritans provide 24/7, confidential emotional support to people struggling to cope.

SANEline

SAMEline is an out-of-hours mental health helpline providing support, guidance and information to anyone affected by mental illness, including family, friends and carers.

Shout is a free, 24/7 text-based emotional support-service; they have trained volunteers who are available night and day.
They help people with experiencing: anxiety & stress, abuse, depression & sadness, bullying, panic attacks, loneliness & isolation, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm.

Run run a confidential helpline for people struggling with suicidal thoughts. 

StayAlive app

The StayAlive app is a suicide prevention resource for the UK. It can be used by those who are having thoughts of suicide, as well as those who are concerned about someone else who may have suicidal ideas.

Switchboard

Switchboard provide confidential emotional support to LGBTQIA+ and a safe space to discuss sexuality and gender identity.

The Mix

The Mix support young people under 25 years old with their mental health, relationships, housing & financial issues, drug use, and work & lifestyle concerns.
