About this event
We are commissioned by the North Central London Clinical Commissioning Group (NCLCCG) to work with Enfield Memory Service to support people from point of diagnosis.
A diagnosis of dementia can be challenging and our team of trained Health & Wellbeing Navigators can help you to learn more about living with dementia, build coping strategies, help to obtain benefits, plan for later life, and help you access help from other organisations. Working one to one with you for up to 12 weeks. We also offer carers education, support and advice and work closely with our colleagues at Enfield Carers Centre.
In addition to our one to one support we run a range of dementia friendly activities, Memory Meet Up is a sociable group meet up for people affected by dementia and their families. With fun, music, exercise, arts and crafts, quizzes, reminscence and so much more. We appreciate that everyone's experience of dementia is different and that's why we are here to help or advise as concerns arise.
If you would like to speak to a navigator one to one or attend group education, please email:referrals@ageukenfield.org.uk
