Is your community more affected by Coronavirus than others?
We are working with the Enfield Racial Equality Council (EREC) to bring more information and better health and social care support to people from Black and Ethnic Minority communities who have been most affected by Coronavirus. So far we have heard from 50 local people from these communities, but we want to hear from more.
You can help simply by telling us your story by completing our short survey.
We will share all your feedback anonymously with health and care services and Enfield Council. They will use this information to plan support in future and make sure that things that worked well are shared. This will be really important to get right if there is a second wave or local lockdowns.
The more people who respond, the more powerful your voice will be.

A number of community groups have been in touch with Healthwatch Enfield and Enfield Racial Equality Council (EREC) about the coronavirus pandemic. Understandably, there is a concern about the second wave and the disproportionate impact on some of our communities. Community groups have told us that they would welcome more information and support.
We are specifically interested in hearing from those from Black and Ethnic Minorities so that we can understand how the Coronavirus outbreak has impacted those who have been affected the most.
We are working with Enfield Racial Equality Councils’ wide network of local community groups so that we can start to share information and support each other. We would really appreciate your help by sharing your experiences and getting local people to give us their feedback. We want to work with you to ensure that your views help to shape the Enfield’s response to the virus.
Hearing directly from you helps us find out what information and support local people need in future. We also share anonymous feedback with health and care services in Enfield which helps them adapt and plan for your needs wherever they can.
