CQC North Middlesex University Hospital Report
The latest CQC report for North Middlesex University Hospital is now available to view. The report outlines their assessment of NMUH trust's level of care quality. We based it on information that we had access to in addition to the findings from their inspection. It contained data provided to them by users of the service, members of the public, and other organisations.
The CQC rated NMUH requires improvement:
- Under the categories of: 'Safe', 'Effective', 'Responsive', 'Well-Led' and 'Overall' the CQC rated the Hospital as requires improvement. However the hospital received a rating of 'Good' under the category 'Caring'. This is consistent with the hospital's last inspection.
- The CQC rated the medical core services they inspected as 'requires improvement'. This was 'requires improvement' under the categories of 'Safe', 'Responsive' and 'Well-led'. A rating of good was achieved for 'Effective' and 'Caring'.
- The rating of the 'Well-led' assessment was 'requires improvement'.
- In May 2023 the CQC carried out an unannounced inspection of maternity services as part of the national maternity inspection programme. The service received a rating of 'Inadequate' for the category of 'Safe' as well as under 'Well-led'. The overall ratings for maternity services was dropped to 'Inadequate'.
